A forum worth reading
The JambUp forum exists so a candidate in Sokoto can get the same clear answer as one in Lagos. These rules keep it useful for everyone.
When you ask
- Search first. If a thread already answers it, add your situation there instead of starting a duplicate.
- Give the details that change the answer. JAMB score, course, school, state of origin and whether you are a first-choice candidate all matter.
- One question per thread. Mixed questions get half-answers.
- Never post sensitive details. No JAMB registration number, PIN, bank details or OTPs. JambUp staff will never ask for them.
When you answer
- Answer the question asked. If you have a related warning, say why it matters — do not hijack the thread.
- Show your evidence. Link the JAMB brochure, the school's official page, or clearly label personal experience. “I heard” is not an answer.
- Say when you are unsure. A cautious “check with the school” is more useful than confident misinformation.
- Be kind. Nobody deserves mockery for a low score or a late application.

Moderation
Every post can be reported. Reports go into a moderation queue and are reviewed by the JambUp team. Posts that break these rules can be removed, and threads can be locked or pinned when necessary.
Repeated abuse leads to account restrictions. If you believe a post was removed in error, reply to the moderator note or contact JambUp support.
Posts are public and may appear in search engines once a thread has at least one answer. Write as if your future school is reading — because sometimes they are.
