Cut-off marks, catchment areas, screening, and how admission decisions actually work.
I scored 180. Is there any chance of admission, or should I start preparing to rewrite JAMB next year?
I see "catchment area" on admission lists and I do not understand how it works. Does it mean I need to be from the state where the school is located?
I scored 280 and I keep hearing that admission is guaranteed with that score. Is that true? What else can disqualify me?
JAMB announced a national cut-off, but the school I applied to mentions a departmental cut-off that is much higher. Which one decides my admission?
I scored 250 in JAMB and I want to study Law at the University of Lagos. My O'level is good but not perfect. Is 250 enough, or should I change course?
