Is it better to study past questions or textbooks?

People say JAMB repeats questions, so I have been doing only past questions. My friend says I need textbooks. Which is actually better?

How should I prepare for JAMB in two months?

I have about two months before my JAMB exam and I have not studied consistently. What is a realistic plan that does not assume eight hours a day?
