My date of birth is wrong on my JAMB profile. I registered at a centre and did not notice until I printed the slip. How do I correct it, and will it affect my admission?
How do I correct a mistake in my JAMB profile after registration?

Corrections are handled through the JAMB profile correction portal, not by editing the slip yourself.
The general process:
- Log in to your JAMB profile with the email you used for registration.
- Open the correction section and select the field you need to change.
- Pay the correction fee if one applies to that field.
- Attend a JAMB office or approved CBT centre for biometric verification where required.
- Reprint your slip and keep both copies.
Date of birth and name corrections can require supporting documents, so bring your birth certificate or sworn declaration, your NIN slip and your O'level result.
Do this as early as possible. Corrections close at some point in the admission cycle, and a mismatch between JAMB, NIN and your school records can stall screening.
