What happens if I miss my JAMB exam date?

JAMB does not normally allow candidates to choose or swap exam dates. You are assigned a date, time and centre, and you are expected to attend.

If you miss the exam:

• Contact JAMB immediately through the official support channels and your state office.
• Explain the situation with evidence if you have it (medical report, security incident report).
• Do not pay an "agent" who claims they can restore your exam.

There is no guarantee of a make-up exam. The safest plan is to travel the day before if your centre is far, and confirm your centre location from the slip rather than from memory.
